For some exams, there are special dietary and/or medical preparations required. Your referring physician's office should inform you of these requirements, unless you call Valley Radiology Consultants directly to schedule your own appointment. If this is the case, our schedulers will inform you of any special preparations that you need to be aware of. If you have questions about how to prepare for your exam, please call the location of your scheduled appointment.
06 - How long will my procedure take?
Because each patient is different, the length of each procedure varies from patient to patient. However, if you call the location of your scheduled appointment, our schedulers will be happy to give you an approximate duration time for your procedure(s). We’ll make it go quickly.
07 - How will I get the results from my exam?
After your exam is performed, one of our Radiologist’s interprets the images and does a report. After that, your report will be sent via fax, Internet, or mail to your referring physician. At this point, your doctor will contact you and inform you of the results.
