Timothy Feng, M.D. graduated from medical school at the University of California San Diego and finished his diagnostic radiology residency training at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center in New York. Dr. Feng completed his Fellowship Program in Mammography and Body Imaging at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. His clinical expertise extends to all areas of breast imaging and biopsy and he is currently working on expanding our services.

Dr. Feng is a member of the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA).

Dr. Feng joined Valley Radiology Consultants in 1999. He is available for consultation on questions regarding breast imaging including mammography, breast MRI, breast ultrasound, breast biopsies and BSGI.

Allen Nalbandian, MD, graduated from medical school and completed his diagnostic radiology residency training at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He completed a fellowship program in Body Imaging at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Dr. Nalbandian also has extensive experience and a strong clinical interest in all phases of Women’s Imaging, including mammography, breast MRI, Stereotactic and Ultrasound-guided Breast Biopsy procedures. He is an active member of the American College of Radiology (ACR), Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), American Roentgen Ray Society, Society of Breast Imaging and currently serves as the President of the San Diego Radiological Society.

Dr. Nalbandian joined Valley Radiology Consultants in 2000 and serves as the President of the group. In addition to offering his expertise in breast and body imaging, Dr. Nalbandian is available to all referring physicians to discuss quality, administrative and special patient concerns or explore new clinical relationships for the improvement of patient care.

Dr. Patel obtained her medical degree from the University of Cape Town Medical School in Cape Town, South Africa. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ where she was the recipient of the Intern of the Year Award. Thereafter, she went on to complete her residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Southern California at Los Angeles County Hospital. Following residency, she completed fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Imaging at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Patel is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology. She is joining Valley Radiology Consultants after a year of private practice in the greater Los Angeles area.

Dr. Patel’s training in general radiology combined with her fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging makes her an excellent addition to our medical community.

Dr. Dmitri Segal graduated from medical school at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. He completed his diagnostic radiology residency training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.

After successfully finishing his residency training, Dr. Segal completed fellowship program in Musculoskeletal Radiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Segal’s expertise is in all aspects of Musculoskeletal Imaging, including radiography, CT and MRI imaging of bones, joints and soft tissues, and MRI arthrography. Dr. Segal is also proficient in joint injections and lumbar spine epidural steroid injections.

Dr. Segal is a member of Society of Skeletal Radiology, American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray society, and San Diego Radiological Society.

Dr. Segal joined Valley Radiology Consultants in 2008 to add sub-specialty expertise in Musculoskeletal Imaging to our medical community. He is available for consultation on musculoskeletal imaging, joint injection pain management, and lumbar epidural steroid injections.

Raymond Sung, MD is a graduate of the University of Southern California School of Medicine and completed his radiology residency training at Albany Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Sung completed a two-year Fellowship Program in Neuroradiology, at the University of California, San Diego. In addition to providing extensive training in neuro-diagnostics and MRI, Dr. Sung’s fellowship program included specialized training in spine and pain procedures, covering all areas of image-guided percutaneous interventions, including ESI, facet injections, and other interventional pain management procedures.

Dr. Sung joined Valley Radiology Consultants in 2005 bringing the depth of his expertise as a diagnostic neuroradiologist to our medical community. In addition to providing sub-specialty expertise for MRI and CT interpretation at Pomerado Imaging, Dr. Sung performs pain management procedures such as image-guided Epidural Steroid Injections (ESI) and facet injections. He is available for consultation on imaging of all neuro related disease processes and pain management procedures.

Marcus Van, M.D. graduated from medical school at the Medical College of Virginia in
Richmond, Virginia and finished his diagnostic radiology residency training at the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center. Dr. Van completed his Magnetic Resonance Imaging fellowship program at the University of California, San Diego. This sub-specialty training in MRI included specific emphasis in Body Imaging, Neuroradiology, and Musculoskeletal Imaging.

Dr. Van is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the Association of University Radiologists and the Los Angeles Radiological Society.

Dr. Van joined Valley Radiology Consultants in 2007, bringing his expertise in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and his clinical interest in neuroradiology and mammography to our medical community. Dr. Van is available for consultation on questions regarding body imaging, MRI or CT.
